StuffWine (117) - Perth, AUSTRALIA - FEB 19, 2012
Clear straw-amber hue, weak white head quickly gone (not a speck of lace). Thin aroma of stale sour white bread. One-dimensional thin lager taste with a touch of grass. Thin bodied and watery on palate, soft carbonation. Moderate bitter hops finish. A let down to german beer. But was cold and i wanted a beer (better than water).

Bottle. Quite a simple, grassy lager. Not really my cup of tea but ok for a lager I guess

Draught@Euston Tap, London. Yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is malts, some bready notes, mild diacetyl/buttery notes as well as quite pleasant grassy/hayish hopping. Flavour is rather similar with the diacetyl being toned down a bit. A brew that’s actually a bit more to the Czech style than German.

Bottle at Munich Airport as Premium Pilsner. Pours clear gole with a 2 finger foamy white head. Aroma of near medium body. Flavor is quite grassy, and the finish is crisp and bitter.

Bottle 50cl, a clear yellow beer with medium head. Nose is on bitter hops. Aroma is mostly dry with some malt hints, with grassy and spicy hops, finish is bitter with dusty hops, not a great beer.

Blairgus (2416) - California, USA - APR 26, 2011
26 April 2011, bottle. very pale yellow, clear with some steady bubbles. sweet malty smelling lager. some soft saaz bitterness. thin and creamy and not very fizzy. sweet with a decent enough degree of bitterness with very little finish, though there is a bit of a stewed tea flavour hidden in there somewhere.

At a tasting, thanks Oren, pours pale yellow with a nice head, aroma of malt, cereals, honey and alcohol, flavor is dry with malt, a bit of herby hops, some floral notes and alcohol, light bodied.
