2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle- Pours a light golden color with a nice head that fades to some lacing. Aroma of malt sweetness, some grain and has a bit of citrus in the background. tatse of a mild malt sweetness, with some fresh grain. Has a mild bitterness and a dry finish. Fairly light body, crisp and refreshing. has a decent balance. Nothing fancy but a nice relaxing beer that goes down easy. Better that most of the macro lagers.

330ml bottle- Not a bad pale lager. A bit maltier than most, but still a nice refreshing lager.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours a dull yellow with a small white head. Aroma is malt with hints of grass. Taste is also malty with hints of grass and distant cardboard leading to a malty and lightly bitter finish. Pretty underwhelming.

3.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Brown 50cl bottle, well in date. The first of my German Beer Reviewing Evening on 20th Feb 2009..
Poured into my Budweiser Budvar 0.2 litre stemmed tulip tasting glass (3 times).
Clear golden yellow, fairly pale and bright looking. A large white head sat on top of each pour, sadly the heads all fell away as I drank down each beer, leaving a small collar and some good lacing.
A very slight floral aroma, but not enough to get excited about, otherwise there was no smell, just like most lagers/helles/pilsners.
Dry and refreshing, sharp and crisp. No huge flavours to talk about, but a good example of a German light lager/pilsner.
No great body or depth, just a pleasant lager, easy to drink. The 5.3% is just about detectable. My third glass was taken with some vintage Stilton and dry biscuits, they complimented each other very well.
Now to have some water to clean out the mouth before my next German review.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
On cask at Cloisters. Pours a blonde colour with a thick white head. Aroma of bready yeast and caramel. Similar flavours with heavy carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel. Not overly exciting.

1.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Clear straw-amber hue, weak white head quickly gone (not a speck of lace). Thin aroma of stale sour white bread. One-dimensional thin lager taste with a touch of grass. Thin bodied and watery on palate, soft carbonation. Moderate bitter hops finish. A let down to german beer. But was cold and i wanted a beer (better than water).
