Pours bright gold with a small, fading head. Grainy malt and cardboard are prominent on the nose with some spicy hops hiding in the background. Flavours are pretty bad, with Ajax, cardboard, loads of grainyness and cleaning chemicals. Very watery, high carbonation.

A Mes rate.At Inter-Tapa opposite Sagrada Familia.
The weather is warm but perfectly tolerable, the beer is cold and clean, I have Sim with me and from my seat in the middle of a wide and grand pedestrianised street I have a superb and unobscured view of Sagrada Familia. It’s one of those life is sweet moments. Very sniffable German lager on the nose, perfect vivid transparent gold colour with a good bleached white head and once in the mouth it does exactly what it is supposed to do. Refreshing, tasty and downable. Clean malty stuff with a good hoppy finish and late bitterness. Everything is just right. Apart from Sim complaining about the price of everything like a proper cheapskate.

Bottled. A very pale and slightly hazy yellow gold coloured beer with no head. The aroma is slightly metallic and chemical although there is some grass. The taste is a little lemony and there’s a creamy note. A pretty decent lager.

Straw yellow colour. Taste is weak, very watered down. Really didn’t have any difference from many of the macro beers around here.

330ml bottle into lager glass. A clear pale yellow beer with a good frothy white head. Nose of sweet malts and light grassy hops. Medium-light bodied with a taste of grainy sweet malt finishing with a rather soapy and metallic dry bitterness. It’s cheap for an imported premium beer and I can see why. Still better than most mainstream Aussie lagers though.
