Lounge at the Berlin Airport, 5/25/15. It’s still last night at home, and I haven’t slept yet, so call this a Sunday night beer! Clear gold color with a small white head. Light grass hop and hay aroma. Similar flavor, lightly sweet and light-medium bitter. Clean and easy drinking. Lively carbonation. Decent enough.

Bottle: Drank after a visit to the Zupspitze, Pils is not that popular in Bavaria though you’ll always find at least one option but mainly in bottles (not draft). Food Pairing: Flammkuchen

Couleur or, légère mousse blanche. Nez houblonné, note d’herbes, colle. Gout houblonné, un peu épicée avec amertume astrigente en fin de bouche. Corps moyen. Decevant pour une pils.

*Old rating, best before 09/2011. Schön frisch-herbes, trockenes Bier. Feinherb im Nachgeschmack, würzig mit trockenem süffigem Körper.

I didn’t like this stuff quite as much as my buddy Tiki below, but I do like the finish. Overall it’s pretty much just pale grain and....pale grain. But at the risk of degenerating into ambiguous macro taglines, this stuff has a nice clean taste to it - like it’s brewed with Rocky Mountain spring water. And the vented can is a great bonus!....ahem. Anyway, this stuff is aight for a generic pils. I wouldn’t brag about it to my friends, but I wouldn’t kick it out of bed either.
