Bottle. Plain clear gold color without much head. Flavor is too sweet and malty, with little hops to balance.

Grainy malts and leafy green hops in the nose. Clear plae gold with shy, white, fully-diminishing head. Sweet, mild, grainy flavour is lightly bitter towards the finish, but doesn’t have the crispness one would expect from a top-notch pils. Light body is somewhat fizzy and watery. Sampled at Mondial de la Bière 2005.

(bottle) Clear body with a pale golden colour and an average frothy white head. Harsh strawy malty aroma with a tinge of grassy hops in the background. Light sweet flavour, malty taste with a bitterdry hoppy finish. Thin texture but fizzy carbonated. Rather unpleasant and decent.

Sample from can at the Mondial. Very, very, very...ok, extremely pale, lots of bubbles, no head to mention...dry herbal nose, faint but reasonably fresh...fairly bitter, dry body throughout, just enough honey sweetness to keep it drinkable but without enough malt to make it interesting.

By the glass at a cafe in the university district of Munich. Tobacco-ish taste, not overly impressed.
