2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
500 ml can. Clear golden. Fine-laced white head. Aroma is citrusy, very lemon-like. The citrus aromas most likely come from the hops used. Saaz perhaps. Flavour holds very little maltiness. Distinct grassy hop flavour. Medium bodied. Pretty much an average pilsener. Good hops, but low on malts.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle: poured clear yellow with a big white head. Very light streaming bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Aroma is light hops and very light malt. This is a German pilsner through and through. Light metallic flavor and a moderate bitter finish. Good.

(Bottle 50 cl) Neatly golden pilsener with a creamy but rather discreet head. Nice, full body and a solid hoppyness - the latter is a bit unusual for Fürstenberg. 181002

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Aroma reminiscent of papayas, bananas etc. Pours a mellow yellow with a small head. Flavour is quite dry and biscuity. Slightly warming too, impressive for a pils. This is all around one of the best pilsners I’ve tasted.

Bottled. Pale golden colour. Medium, beautifully frothy head. Flowery hop aroma. Slightly sweetish, flowery, hoppy with a hint of maltiness. Ends medium dry, but with a lasting hop-bitter aftertaste. Body is a tad too light. Good pilsner of the southern-German type.
