The Fürstenberg Premium Pilsner, one of only a handful of "Premium" designated premium beers in Germany and long thought to be the first German Pilsner brewed in accordance to the Czech Pilsner method has an alcohol % of 4.8. Water is actually taken from the source of the Danube river deep in the Black Forest!

Clear golden body, white quickly disappearing head. Rather soft carbonation. Aroma is malty and sweetish but the taste has pleasant bitterness; hoppy flavors of grass and herbs. (0, 33l bottle at the TXL Airport lounge.)

This bee has golden colour and pretty big white head. However, head disappears quickly, which was a bit of a disappointment. It has lighter taste with just bit of bitterness at the end. Its a nice sipping beer that does not overwhelm with hops. Not bad for right occasions.

Bottle shared with McTapps. A tough one for sure. Bit of grains, the rest is just dull and full of cheap bitterness. No way in drinking that one again.

Bottle. Clear golden colour with low head and crisp body. Unpleasant nose of bitterness. Taste of bitter hops, old barley, grass and old citrus peel. Hard to drink with a very dry and bitter finish.

pours clear pale yellow with a nice frothy white head, some retention and lacing. bready and lightly sugary malts, bit of corn, hay and grass, maybe some apple juice. faint nobleness and flowers. average carbonation, light body - slightly watery, short but present and almost bland herbal-citrusy finish. meh - DP.

500ml can bought at Biere Von Irene in Yuen Long.

Light golden honey colour; One finger head and white foam which last for 2 minutes; Minimal lacing with active carbonation; Aroma of sweet malt, with light bread, citrus and straw; Light sweet taste of thin malt, with lemon, light lime, straw, and hint of liquorices; Mid to light body, not so thin and slick palate. Mouth feel is more like a very well make, thicker body pale lager, free of sugar and any foul tastes; Hoppiness is fairly light on citrusy smell and taste, and very low but present astringency; Fairly dry after taste, crisp and very easy to mouth.

Comments: This one stays pretty true to the Pilsner style - very well attenuated, almost free of wort sugar, clean and crisp. The lows being low hoppiness, and not really something special. That said, being middle of the road has its advantages, as regular quaffable lager, I will pick this one over other macros any day.

Big hed that don’t last. Looks like a golden/pale lager with some carbination a little at time’s. Smells of lager but not typical eruo lager and apple juice. Don’t taste as watery as one would think and must have a lot of hops its a filling heavy beer. Taste I don’t like makes me thik of apple juice and baby shit.
