COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Pours out in a deep brown colour with low head and medium to smooth body. Aroma of malt and straw. Taste of malt, barley, leaves, roses, cloves and liquer. Easy and quite nice to drink yet a little bit boring and unspectacular.

Clear dark brown colour. Caramel aroma. Medium brown head. Very roasty taste with a woody palate. Reminiscent of smoked beer.

Bottle. Dark brown, small and fully diminishing light brown head. Moderate, malty and caramel sweetish aroma, some bread. Body is medium, malty and caramel sweetish flavor, some bread and faint roasted malt. Finish is average, malty and sweetish, some caramel with light roasted malt, light alcohol. Sweetish doppelbock with caramel – nothing special.

Lovely very dark brown, fluffy head. Caramel and malt, smooth and drinkable, yet a decent dose of hops plus some burned sugar.

Almost black pour. Small khaki head. No lacing. Big aroma of bread and malt. Some yeast notes. Taste is a bit more acrid but somewhat sweet. Not bad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Deep reddish brown with a clingy off-white head, hints of treacle toffee, smoke and old wine on the nose, rich and malty, with burnt caramel, a faint burnt woodiness, and a very slight saltiness. Tasty.

The head is ok. It smells sweet, malty, aromatic. The taste is sweet, creamy, maltaromatic, a bit alcoholic. Overall good and tasty. 11/10/10/11/11/10
