Bottle 50cl. A clear amber beer with medium head. Nose is on barley sugar. A very sweet beer with caramel malt body and barley sugar such as a doppelbock. Low hops character, a bit too sweet to be really pleasant.

Pours murky brown with very little head. Sweet, indefinable aroma. Sweet but not cloying taste; rather pleasant in small amounts. Wouldn’t drink more than one bottle in a sitting, though.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 shrubber85 (6046) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - NOV 13, 2010
Bottle. Strong sweet honey and orange aroma with a light hint of bitterness. Clear amber color with giant beige head. Very sweet honey and light malt flavor with a light bitter finish. A beer-mead hybrid - not as sweet as a mead and less malty than most beers.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 BeerViking (1454) - Lüneburg, Lower Saxony, GERMANY - OCT 25, 2010
50cl bottle. Pours reddish amber with a fast-disappearing off-white head. Sweetish honey and malt aroma, taste is initially good, as the honey sweetness is bolstered by a malty and slightly nutty body and a bit of bitterness, but the aftertaste is too cloying. It amuses me that nowhere on the bottle does the brewer claim that this is beer, instead describing it as an "alcoholic mixed drink". Of course, under the Blessed Rheinheitsgebot, this is legally NOT beer, as it has honey in.

0.5L bottle. Interesting beer! Dark gold color with lively bubbles. Taste is very sweet, as if they used splenda end game - not negative, just different. Not much in the aftertaste. Nice, easy, interesting.
