clear amber colour with a very fine but persistent beige foam, very flowerish and honeyish arom, very sweet - glucose-like sweetness - medium-bodied, unfortunately nothing to balance the sweetness, long and sweetish aftertaste of honey - one-dimensional and definitely too sweet

241112: clear amber color with fine head. Sweet honny and malty aroma. Flavor is very sweet and sticky.

fromm bottle. so this is it: the famous "odin trunk". quite ridiculous label with odin on. poured into the glass it has a brown colour and a minimal white head that quickly disappears. the aroma is quite pleasent, malts, honey and some metallic notes. medium sweet taste of honey combined with some hoppy notes. body is medium, texture is quite oily. long lasting honey finish. i actually like this but actually can’t drink more than one bottle once in a while due to the sweet honey flavour.

Bottle. Clear brown colour with large creamy off-white mostly lasting head. Malty aroma. Sweet flavor.

[500ml bottle] Poured deep gold with a thin white head. A totally random purchase from a Prenzlauer Berg bottle shop – I didn’t realise it was a honey beer. Until I opened it, of course. Huge sweet, sticky honey aroma. Sweet caramel malt on the flavour, before the honey arrives and oozes over your palate. Whether you like this will depend entirely on whether you like honey beers. Bottle. High and long lasting creamy white head. Clear dark amber body. Herbal honey caramel malt aroma. Pretty sweet honey barley malt flavor with little hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long sweet aftertaste.

Bottle. Pours clear deep golden with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet malt and honey. The flavour is the same.

500ml bottle [Fürstlich Drehna Selection Honig-Bier]. Clear amber coloured with average frothy white head. Earthy honey aroma reminds of fermenting melon, a hop not intervenes. Way too sweet somewhat spicy honey taste doesn’t make fun. Too much honey for too small a body.

This Biergemischgetränk as the label says pours hzy clear redding with foamy head with lasts. Aromas include sweet malt, caramel, grains, mead. The texture is thick, medioum carbonated, middle flavour sweet, with hints of choco. The aftertaste is watery, a vague bitterness kicks in for a second and finishes into a short overwhelming sweetness. Texture is good but, way too sweet.

Bottle: orange-reddish beer with an off-white head. Very sweet aroma with sugary malts, honey, caramel and harsh-citrus-orange notes. Heavy sweet taste with an overpowering honey-fruitiness. Out of balance. @ Like a Danish "hvidtøl" pumped up in ABV. Sugary texture. Undrinksble, i’d say.
