Draft at brewpub. Reddish-brown and hazy with a tan head. Big malty, husky aroma. Juicy and good body. Nice husky flavors. Some fruity notes and a dry, roasty finish. Quite nice and very drinkable.

Draught, 5.5% at the brewpub. Weak sour rag aroma. Hazy dark brown colour. Nice stable, creamy light brown head. The flavour is better than the aroma, caramelly, perhaps a hint of butter, but not a problem.

Bottled, 1.0l. Hazy dark brown with a small, tanned and partly lasting head. Flowery, caramely aroma with chocolate, mild roastiness and some berries. Roasted-malty, sweetish flavor with milk chocolate and hints of toffee. Medium, silky smooth body with soft carbonation. A nice, tasty and balanced dunkel.

UPDATED: MAY 14, 2013 (Bottle, 1 litre, at One Pint Pub, Helsinki, on 2008-11-10) Dark reddish brown. Medium sized quickly disappearing white head. Malty nose. Full bodied palate with medium carbonation. Malts, bitterness and little bit of dark chocolate in taste. Old rating: 6-3-6-3-12
(Re-rate, keg at the brewpub, 20130513) The beer poured dark brown and hazy. Its head head was medium sized and almost white. Aroma had caramell and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, grass, butter and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. The diacetyl was a bit disturbing. Otherwise ok.

Vom Fass at the huge Brauhaus 28 Jun 07. Brown colored. Hazy. A small creamy head. Modest malty & fruity impression throughout. A bit too carbonated. Not impressed.
