On Tap at the brewbub. Trübes leuchtend goldenes Bier mit einer mittelgroßen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch getreidig malzig, leicht hopfig. Geschmack getreidig malzig, gering süß, schwach hopfig.

500ml on tap at the brewpub in Regensburg. Aroma is oat and cereals. Appearance is cloudy yellow with a one finger thick white foam. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Mild with a soft carbonation and a light dryness. Good.

My Bottom Line:
This bubbly unfiltered Helles relies on its herbal hop bitterness to make you forget the mineral edges and lack of malt clarity.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A slice of foam tops the opaque beige.
-This was another one of their brews which tasted like it wasn’t lagered long enough.
-This remains easily drinkable.
-Vague fruitiness appears here and there.

On tap at the brewpub.

(Bue sur place): Un pain croûté avec des couches de pailles et d’herbes fraiches. D’étranges éruptions phénoliques gâchent un peu la fête.

Heller, leicht hopfiger Antrunk. Später herber werdend, dabei bildet sich hintergründig ein leicht buttriges Fehlaroma. Dieses wird schnell dumpfer und fällt dann kaum noch auf. Hell getreidig, grasig herb. OK. 11/9/9/9//9

Pretty cloudy yellow beer, big creamy white head, stable, little adhesive. Aroma: little fruity, grains, stable, hay, light malts, sweet touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, pretty bitter, grains, bit grassy, sweet malts. Aftertaste: bitter, some grains, hay, bit fruity, peaches. Pretty decent. I could go out on this stuff.

On tap at the brauhaus - 27/04/12. Golden/yellow - slightly cloudy with a thin white head. Grain, malts and light hops on the nose and a little grassiness. Grainy yeast taste allied to straw/grass and a little biterness. Moderate carbonation - tangy bitter finish. Refreshing on what was a warm day but no world beater!

Draft at the brewpub. Slightly hazy, opaque with a golden hay hue. Creamy white head. It drinks with a creamy consistency, drinking with a nice even malty character, and a sweet finish. It is what it is. Nice start to a Bavarian beer tour ... (#4373, 11/30/2011)

Beer No. 5 on my tour through Austria, Germany and Denmark.
Draught at the brewpub. Hazy yellow/golden coloured, small white head, light fruity nose. Moderate malty, grainy and fruity with mild bitter hoppy finish. Drinkable.

A very nice, mild, but interesting helles that is a great thirst-quencher on a hot day.
