Hazy amber. Kind of a sour, footy character. Tart, with some slight sour apple. A fairly ho-hum example as a result. It only does the expected and even at that not very well.

Tap at the Brauhaus. Cloudy brown with orange highlights and a lacing rocky white head. Great wheat nose with lemon, vanilla, and loads and loads of banana esters. Finally, a great wheat beer nose! Light body, heavy wheat with some yeast, a little pretzel with the esters. Super refreshing.

Draught at the brewpub. Murky dark orange coloured, medium to big sized creamy white head that went away nowhere for a while, very pleasant acidic fruity nose. Moderate sweet malty, yeasty and fruity with touch of caramel and glue. Banana in the finish.

Tap. Sweet banana, orange, clove and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy dark amber color with giant fluffy head - beautiful. Sweet orange juice, clove, light banana, and wheat malt flavor. Low carbonation and medium body.

Unclear hazy medium orange color with a average to large, creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, moderate yeasty, fruity, banana notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is creamy, carbonation is soft. [20090703]

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy orange amber, creamy head. Aroma of ripe banana. Sweet and sugary with rounded mouthfeel. A strightfrward weizen sitting heavily on sugary malt and overripe banana.

Draught at brewery. Very attractive deep orange colour with flavour to match. A nice bit of citrus to match the yeasty banananess, and also left a nice fizz on the tongue.

Draft at brewery. Nice cloudy red-orange with thick bone-colored head. Aroma is bread-like, and then the yeast and dried bananas creep in along with some sourness. There is a big of strange sourness throughout the beer and in the flavors but it’s not bad. The grain is nice. Has a sweet finish but is mainly dry. Manages to feel heavy, and yeasty, in spite of the spritziness to it.
