3.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 7/20
Super sustaining head with such a presence of pepper in the aroma and pallete. Not too hoppy and gets better as you go but almost a novelty beer that makes your mouth water

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a ruddy, particulate filled brown - kind of looks like sewer water - with a puffy light tan head with significant staying power. Aroma is sweet with some spice mixed in - honey, malt, pepper...it works. Flavor is definitely a bit odd - a bit of a roller coaster between sweet malt and bitter hop, with a lot of spice at the end. Ends with a long, bitter finish. Palate seems appropriate for the beer - maybe slightly thin. Interesting drink - just not quite sure what this is supposed to be!

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottled. A hazy dark amber beer with a nice light tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and herbs. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from draft at twisted spoke. Clear orange with foamy head. Crazy taste. Cracked pepper for sure. Honey and Carmel flavors too. Malts and hops are medium. Not bad. Weird beer

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours amber with a bit of lacing head. Lots of pepper and hops on the nose make for a very interesting scent. The taste is spicy and bitter reminiscent of a rye beer. Overall it finishes a bit weak but is a great beer and I would have lots more

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Surprisingly good given that it is full of black pepper. Balanced just right so that the pepper acts as the hop, without overpowering the balance.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Beer made with black pepper sounds too interesting not to try. It pours a cloudy medium brown color with a strong scent of malts and black pepper which continues into the taste. It does have a slightly bitter taste. Something new and interesting to try that would go well with a beef meal but not so well by itself.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
The pepper starts as just a hint of spice jazzing up a plain pale, but it really accumulates and warms up the sinuses. Not at all subtle but weirdly balanced. A tasty drink for winter if you really love pepper. It would be fantastic with a good cut of meat.
