Rogueone (95), I F&ckin’ hate those guys from, Ohio, USA May 7, 2008 Bottle: This beer is so bitter, it is even bitter-smelling, with toffee undertones. Very bitter, hint of caramel, and then bitter again, then a bit sweet. I was confused. Could not have blindly guessed this style. pepsican (500), coralville, Iowa, USA May 1, 2008 Brown hazy pour with a medium sized off white head. Lightly hopped yeasty aroma. Flavor is sweet caramel, banana, hops, bubblegum, and toffee. Lightly sweet but with a bit of hop balance. Medium mouth feel. Nice. tytoanderso (1093), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA Apr 18, 2008 12oz bottle. While I applaud the effort of blending together three distinct pal ales... the end product is exactly what you think it will end up like... good, but all over the place. slightly tart aroma with some banana esters and a touch of woodsy and citrus hops. Pours a dark, rich maroon/amber with a thick and creamy off white head. The Belgian pale is initially dominant with it’s estery palate. Grassy, woodsy and citrus hops follow. Some interesting pine resin, toasted nuts and toffee flavors as well. Medium to full bodied. Again... as with most Furthermore beers, added points for ingenuity.
