edmedina (11), Chesterfield, Virginia, USA Jul 11, 2008 Pours a clear amber color. I got no head off my pour with this one. I can’t really give you a description of the aroma as I had a little accident and got some up my nose. Not cool! Anyway, the taste is mild not really hoppy but definitely more hop character than malt. The finish is mild bitter with a dry mouth feel. I can see someone enjoying this as a nice session beer. redlem (1096), Illinois, USA Jul 3, 2008 Light amber color with a smallish cream head that lasts. Aroma is mildly old grass with rustic bread. Taste slightly bitter, some caramel sweetness comes through with some fruitiness. Fairly dry finish. A nice example and a brewer I will keep an eye out for. GJF (195), Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA May 31, 2008 Updated: Jul 8, 2008Just didn’t do it for me. Light bodied and a bit cardboardy. I guess I need to fill out the character count, here, so I’ll just say, eh. phishpond417 (1162), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA May 31, 2008 A very well balanced EPA. Pours a pretty clear amber colour with a small off white head. Soft hoppy mouthfeel, but this too was slight. Aromas of blackberries, licorice and caramel. Shag (1750), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA May 12, 2008 This poured an amber color. The aroma contains some caramel and citrus. The flavor is malty with hint of citrus and a large dose of caramel. Some bready notes. The mouthfeel is a little bit weak. Overall a decent beer
