Bottle. Someoneís obviously gone to a lot of effort to make it taste like anything but beer... I suppose itís just not my thing...

330ml bootle. An average lager, better than most mainstream beers. Allright on a hot day

UPDATED: FEB 1, 2011 From a 330ml bottle on 1/2/2011. On opening, itís difficult to detect any meaningful aroma, other than a mild sugary sweetness and a little citrus. In the mouth, it comes across as decent, if unremarkable, premium lager, with a distinct lemony finish.

Into a chilled Tulip. Pours pale gold, no surprises there except the mist of finely dispersed proteins floating about like Sea-monkeys (Canít say that is normal for a Pale Lager, me thinks a dodgy bottle is present!). Head went up and fell with similar haste to a ring of fine white foam, the carbonation minute and intermittent. Sweet nose, pinging on hot, oddly warming, smells of high alcohol brewing, almost Carlsberg Elephant-like. A honeyish medicinal fragrance with mild underlying malt and cardboardy tones. Flavour has depth, sweet front, malty mid-palate where it dries out before a crisp drop-off. Body is medium-light and itís gentle on the palate. Not much length, just a lingering dry graininess and soapy mouhfeel that is subtle enough to not bother me too much. There is a hint of fruit in it I canít quite grasp but it balances nicely. Aside it is drinkable stuff, maybe Iíll split a fiver to get a fresher bottle. (33cL, BB 20/05/10)

bottle. weak and fairly typical of a pale lager, not much to this. a light citrusy aroma and taste, but not much else comes out of it.

Bottle. Tasted as part od a beer & food matching lunch. Light golden with minimal head. Minimal carbonation. Slightly sweet aromas. Not much else really. Flavours are also quite restrained with some sweetness on the finish. Pretty boring and not really something you would seek out specifically.

330ml bottle from Booths Supermarkets. Poured a light golden/yellow, Only very slight carbonation with a short lived thin head. I found it rather sweet but otherwise fairly innocuous. Not a beer, more a slightly better version of a non descript lager. Drank it with a plate of seafood as suggested. It was OK but nothing special.

...have had worse, but what is this supposed to be? Says matched perfectly with food, but it does not say dogmeat. Very weak, skunky, and a medicinal aftertaste.
