Bottle. Pours pale golden, with small white head. Aroma of cereal and citrus, with similar on the palate with a mild hop twist. Inoffensive, not overendowed of character, probably most suitable for spicy food (as marketed).

Pours a bright golden amber with very fine beading as the label suggests. Head goes up and retreats back to a dense, rocky white pad that holds and laces well. A fine looking beer I must admit. Dry, bready and mildly doughy nose with a hint of fell fruit and citrus. Quite foamy, almost creamy in the mouth. Nice dry malt flavour, quite grainy with just a hint of tangy sourness drawing towards the back. Good malty swallow, very little bitterness and only gently hopped which I found disappointing. Not much to balance it though it goes down with haste. Good for spicy food I suppose, but then I could think of thousands of beers capable of doing the same!! (33cL, no date stamp, tasted 11/08/10, Dan Murphy’s)

bottle. pours gold with an average head. Aroma is quite biscuity and citrusy. light hopping gives it a citrusy kick and a biscuit malt backing.

Smokey malt hop aroma. Clear amber colour with good head and lacing. Stale malt hop flavour. Fizzy palate.

From a 330ml on 27/5/2010. Has a slightly floral, grassy aroma with a touch of butterscotch. Taste wise, this is quite sweet and a little citrussy, with a moderate hop finish. A servicable lager, which is quite drinkable.

floydian1 (546) - FNQ, AUSTRALIA - NOV 22, 2009
330ml bottle. Clear golden with a small white head. Aromas of grainy sweet malts and faint citrus. Rather sweet on the tongue with a very mild citrus hop bitterness to the finish. Light to medium bodied with a watery mouthfeel and average carbonation. The blurb states that this beer was made to accompany spicy foods and I suppose it succeeds in this limited capacity, being a bit of palate cleanser in the mould of a Tiger or Cobra lager. Forgettable otherwise.

Davros (1024) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - SEP 29, 2009
Pale golden pour with a lasting white head. Aroma shows clean malt with just a hint of grainy notes. Not too much in the way of hops, just a very slight grassy note. Some clean sweet malt flavours again before grainy malt kicks in. Again, very little hops flavour, and a low bitterness. Reasonable carbonation and body.

Had this one during my holiday in Australia april/may 2009. Golden colored brew. Citric, dusty aroma. Sweetness, pepper, citric, a lot of carbonation.

nate2g (1548) - Boomtown!, AUSTRALIA - JUN 7, 2009
Bottle. Pours yellow with a minimal white head. The aroma and flavour is malt, citrus and grass. Medium thin body with light bitterness. It wouldn’t be my first choice beer for pairing with spicy food, a rather forgettable beer.

bozoNZ (672) - Christchurch, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 27, 2008
330ml bottle b/b 05/05/09. Poursed with a hiss, yellow/golden with a great head but thins quicker than a Sprite. Aroma of a vaccum - palate / flavors not much better. Given the write-up on the label I think someone forgot to add the hops. I think XXXX has more flavour.
