Cask conditioned at The Strawberry Fields, Fleetwood, Lancs. Chestnut with ruby hue, white head. Malty, quite thinnish beer, almost mild like in character. Some roasty notes. Drinkable without too much excitement.

Gravity cask at the Bree Louise. Pours a dark, ruby-brown with a fine, foam head. Bit of ripe fruits in the nose, some caramel, toasted malts. Medium sweet flavor, nice toast that merges into roast, light cocoa, some leafy bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Some toasted sugar in the finish, light bread, toast, mild candied sugar, some cocoa. Not bad.
