Cask. A hazy golden beer with a thin lazing orangey head. The aroma has notes of hops and grass as well as a lighter note of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of hops, and lighter notes of malt and grass, leading to a bitter finish.

Cask (handpump) @ NWAF 10, National Winter Ales Festival, The Venue, Sheridan Suite, Manchester, England.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, butter notes, light smoke - peat, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100120]

Cask. Slightly hazy golden with a small off-white head. A little fruit in the nose. Medium body, flat, fruit and a little smoke and ashes - not really to be expected in a Golden? Discreet bitterness. 200110

Cask conditioned @ Hobgoblin, Reading. Citrussy hops with an overly perfumy feel. Light malt and drinkable bitter finish. I would have preferred it without the perfume.

golden orange, fresh watter nose !!! but nice. Citrusy light fresh clean bright light fruit hop.

Cask, Kingdom of Fife BF 07. Slightly cloudy amber with a thin white head. Aroma is bready, yeast, some malt sweetness. Mouth is slightly fruity, then breadiness. Carries to finish with some sulphur and honey at the end.

UPDATED: FEB 9, 2007 1. Cask Handpump at the Hillsborough Hotel, Sheffield 16/12/2006 Hoppy aroma. Clear golden coloured hoppy and fruity with a crisp and slightly bitter dry finish. 2. Cask Stillage at the Church Hall, Frodsham 06/01/2007 Hoppy and floral aromas. Golden coloured hoppy and fruity with some dryness and bitterness in a sour creamy finish.
