cask at cloisters ... gold#n amber ... thin white head ... light fruit hop ... dull soft creamy hop ... non descript

@Cloisters, Edinburgh. Golden/straw colour. Dull aroma, with maybe some pedio. Light, watery with light malt and pedio. Overall, quite uneventful.

Cask@Babington Arms, Derby. Pale beer with a strong head. The aroma and flavour are lighlty dry. Overall an average beer.

Cask, The Babington Arms, Derby. Golden with a dense white head. Aromas are dry hay and biscuit with sharp citrus and some spices. Flavours are dry with sharp lemon. Fairly citric with some creamy malts. Dry biscuit. OK.

Cask, Kingdom of Fife Beer Festival. Cloudy dark straw colour with no head. Nose is sweet malty, very interesting and complex, something really familiar, but can’t quite put my finger on what it is. Malty mouth, bready, slightly yeasty, quite an organic taste, with something slightly balsamic about it. Very nice, very drinkable. Best of festival for me.
