TheGrandMaster (2334) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - MAR 19, 2010
Bottle (in NZ). Pours a clean and clear gold with a foamy white head. One the nose there is a nice combination of toffee from the malt and citrus from the hops. A decently bitter palate is what this beer is all about, more so than your typical Golden Ale. Comes together very nicely - simple but good.

DruncanVeasey (6950) - NUNEATON, Top 24, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - MAR 7, 2010
Cask, Coventry 2010. Pure gold with a loose sudsy white head climbing the glass. Musky fresh, hop-soaked aroma alluding at grapefruit juice and catpiss. Papaya, then quinine-like drying hop softened with biscuit and cream. Getting a bit jaded by the pale, hop-sodden loveliness..
