Bottled from Brownlie grocers, Biggar. Very pale, but VERY hazy, I think this may be due to the fact that I’ve chilled it! The head is thin and patchy. Light fruity/hoppy nose, and pretty much the same on the palate, The finish is good, lasts well. Was looking forward to this, but the appearance lets it down.

Cask @ Guildford Arms, Edinburgh.
Pours clear, yellowish golden with a fine, small, frothy white head. Aroma has lots of hops, grass, citrusy, piney. Low, lightly prickly carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Flavour is piney, good bready malts, some grassy Amarillo character. Long, lightly bitter aftertaste. A well-brewed and very good Golden Ale.

Cask-conditioned at the Three Judges, Glasgow 29/06/09. Golden in colour with a decent white head. Big citrus and floral hop aroma. Sweet malt flavour to start, before more citrus hops and a decent dry finish. Very good.

Bottle 500ml. A very drinkable golden ale. Strong hops flavours prevail through out this mellow golden ale, leading to amoderately dry finish. good

Bottle, Booths, Windermere. Strong fruity aroma hits you straight away. Pleasant looking pale ale with a white head. The citrus aroma is sharp and zesty and gives afaint tingle in the back of the throat, there’s a reasonable amount of dryness in there too.

Good blonde pint pour, nice hoppy smell. Taste is very fruity, apples, oranges and other citrus, plenty of hops and a pleasant mild bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Bottle. Pours a hazy golden colour with only a small lacy head. Strong citrus notes on the nose. Flavour is dominated by hops with citrus/flower coming through. Pulls a punch a bit above its strength. Another innovative Scottish Brewery well worth seeking out.

Bottle. Looks like a slightly hazy lager topped with an attractive white head. Aroma packs a flowery, hoppy punch with hints of citrus. The flower/hop notes are, if anything, even more intense in the flavour. Finish is very dry with hints of a wheat beer tang. Similar to the Phoenix Pilsner at Manchester’s Sand Bar. I would love to find this excellent beer on cask.
