3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Golden beer with nice balanced bitter kick, some fruit in the aroma and a nice malty backbone. Quite a nice beer, not very special or complex, just very balanced well made beer that could use a little more character.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottled, BB Mar 2015, large sample. Clear yellow color, medium lasting white head. Aroma of flowery hop, slight citrus, hint of grass and pine, some pilsener malt. Quite typical UK style again (is that the yeast used?). Quite bitter taste, which goes on and on. Bit minerally finish perhaps, which again gives that UK feel to it. Tough part to describe, although it is pretty obvious. Great golden ale.

500ml bottle. Pours golden straw colour with a decent white head. Mild and pleasant sharp cereal aroma. Flavour is quite sweet to begin, the grain comes across well, some tropical fruit, moves to sour grapefruit and a good bitter finish. Well balanced and delicious.
