Cask at the Euston Tap, 1st Dec 2010. Black with a small off-white head. Little bit smoky and peaty on the nose. In the mouth it’s a bit salty but also has lots of hops and dryness (it is an IPA after all...) Can’t quite put my finger on it but exceptionally drinkable.

Cask at the Euston Tap. Pours opaque brown with a dense, beige head. Has a light, bready nose with faint, citrus hops and some nuts. Decent flavor, nothing too outrageous. Good balance, with some hard and mildly roasty malts, light cocoa and hay and straw bitterness. Medium bodied with smooth, fine carbonation. Light roast on the finish with significant drying and earthen, dirty bitters on the sides of the mouth. Pretty nice beer overall.
