[cask at the Dalriada, Edinburgh] Pours dark gold and reasonably clear. Aromas of hops and malt, with some yeast on the background. Flavour only slightly wheaty but with some mild hop and malt characters. For a wheat ale, more Ale than Wheat [01062009]

Cask (handpump) @ Guildford Arms, 1 West Register Street, Edinburgh EH2 2AA, Scotland.
Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, toasted, wheat. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20090410]

Cask, Bow Bar, Edinburgh. Burnished orange appearance and crystal clear, which disappointed me a bit - I like my wheat beers to look the part!! Hint of dryness and cloves, with a papery aroma. Some fruit in the aftertaste. Might have been a bit better if served a touch cooler.

Draft at Guildford. Poured an amber, not really wheat except for the bit of citrusy sweetness with it. Interesting if not exactly awesome.
