This is a strong traditional ale with intense malt flavours and a citrus hop aroma. A very smooth beer with a well-rounded, distinctly "moreish" finish.

Misty amber body and stable head. Biscuity malts, light roast even, plus some smooth sweetness. Tiny bit of diacetyl even, but in a good body enriching way. That makes for an excellent mouth feel with fruity hops really shines through and a great soft bitterness in the ending. I usually like these type of ales much better in cask form, as bottles theory rarely are enticing, but this did it very well for me! (50cl bottle from Beer City)

Cask conditioned handpump Craft Beer Co EC1 London 20/02/14. A light amber coloured beer with a whitish head and lace. A sweetish strongish bitter but with good fruit and hop balance. Well constructed and nicely drinkable. Great drinkability.

Cask drunk in the West Highlands at the Barn in Lerags. Appearance and nose do an outstanding job of hiding this beer’s celestial core. Yellow shade of orangy brown sparkle with a thin whispy baldy head. Earthy chewy dry with a hint of deep perfectly restrained toffee. Beautiful long lonhg lingering bitterness which is just devine and just gently intently and firmly costs the entire inside of your mouth. Super intensity without a whiff of the extreme anywhere to be seen.
