Cask (handpump) at the Southampton Arms on 8 February 2011. Straw colour. Top notch condition. Pale and hoppy. Lots of leafy, flowery notes on the nose. Zesty citrus and gooseberry leaf on the palate. Very fresh and zingy mouthfeel. Wonderfully refreshing. Fyne Ales generally do this style of beer very well and this is no exception. Excellent stuff.

Cask at Euston Tap. Clear yellow pour, foamy white head. Big straw hop nose some cracker malts. Nicely sweet flavor, lots of crackers, more straw and mild lemon. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crispy malt finish, lightly dry, some good, fine malts. Very nice beer. Cannot really find any faults.

[cask at the Abbotsford, Edinburgh] Golden pour with a thick white head from the sparkler. Bitter hoppy aromas with a touch of citrus and pine, mostly citrus on the palate. Lots of hop character for such a low-abv beer. Touch of malt to balance, but a fantastically sessionable hoppy ale. Really nice [15122010]

Golden colour. Bright floral, citrusy aroma. Bitter, citrusy, appetizing brew. Too soft and creamy - it needs to be a few degrees cooler and served w/o the sparkler, but it is good beer.

Cask @ Kay’s Bar. Clear pale gold with thick stable head. Grassy hop aroma. Soft palate. The hop character is reminiscent of a nice German pils, and the malts are similarly pure. Beautiful. Would benefit from some chilling but is eminently sessionable.

Handpump Society Rooms Glasgow.14 May 2010. Pale gold colour, shaving foam head, hints of grass and lemon on the nose. Lemon peach and grapefruit tang. Best beer of its kind to come out of Scotland for ages(ever). On form it is Jaipur’s, younger, slighter better behaved little brother.

Cask in the Market Porter. Alround rating: Nice and clean pale malt, a bit biscuity, peppery lemon hop comes through and pritty much dominates, perhaps some oaty like sweetness later too. Very clean and tasty.
