Aroma: bread malts, citrus fruits, caramel. Appearance: light pale gold, need frothy head. Taste: light bitter. Palate: very pleasant sweetness coming up, soft caramel, fruity, average-long light bitter finish. Overall: great Golden Ale, seriously liking aroma and palate. Pint at Craft Beer Co, Covent Garden.

(Cask at Old Fountain, Old Street, London, 10 Apr 2014) Golden colour with brief, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with grass, citrus, resin and fresh hops. Fruity, malty taste with notes of citrus, tropical fruit, resin, chewy malt and a fresh, citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with balanced sweetness. Fresh and tasty hop character. Nice one.

Dark yellow coloured and almost clear. Has a white head. Aroma is a mix of dry hops, light bread and faint butter. Flavor has the butternote too, finish heavy bitter. Dry, creamy texture.

UPDATED: JUL 18, 2014 The aroma isn’t very strong, mostly of citrus, with a little hops and a little floral. Yellow, a little hazy, unstable head. More sour than bitter. Medium body, next to no finish, soft carbonation. Enjoyable but not something I’d have to come back to.

50cl bottle from the brewery. Golden amber with a billowing white head; unpleasantly gassy; but with a good tangerine fruit taste and a crisp and clean bitterness to finish.

Bottle shared by Dave. Poured hazy yellow color with an average white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate floral hop and malt aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium herbal sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Good drinkable brew.

Cask Pint in The Rake, Borough, London in July 2012 - Yellow Golden in colour. Very Fruity; tangy citrus lemon and orange. Hoppy; resinous and grassy hops. Malty; biscuity malts, caramel. Good fruit/hop/malt balance. Fruity citrus hoppy throughout leading to a long dry citrus bitter finish. Liked this a lot. Nice Golden Ale!

Nice, but a bit of disappointment. A good session beer, with a quite good aroma, nicely refreshing but.. the body is very thin, and I thought the aroma is going to be exceptional, while it’s just ok. Also the bitterness is at ok level, but it would help it a lot had it been twice as much bitter. I had pleasure in drinking this beer, but it sure could have been better. After a while I noticed that I did not pour the whole bottle into my glass, so I did it and tasted the beer which was actually about 18C warm - and I think the beer benefitted from this temperature, as it gave a little bit more taste and even bitterness.
