Taste: Tangerine notes, with a lemon and lime kick on the finish. Subtle enough that you could enjoy a few of these in a session.
Palate: Light to medium mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. Slightly oily texture.
Overall: A truly delicious beer and one that I will be buying again soon. Highly recommended for the delicate fruity taste and tangy finish.

500ml bottle. One finger frothy white head, good retention, lacy and a lively pale golden body. a bright and crisp golden with a lovely zesty and juicy, enticing hop profile. Zesty, pithy lemon aromas. Flavours of peach, lemon and tangerine. Light to medium body, good carbonation and hop sting and a lingering grapefruity bitterness. Not overly biting but cheeky enough to make you go back for more.

Bottle at home, from my trusty old Maudite glass, shared with Cole. Pours clear gold with a light haze; 1-finger, reasonably long-lived head, spotty lacing. Nose is fresh and bright: Earthy hops, lemon and spice, very fresh smelling. Almost smells like spring... Flavours of earth, lemon, key limes, bright citrus, and again, lots and lots of grass. Complex and lovely.

Bottle. Pale amber; I think I could read a newspaper through the full pint glass. Fair froth. Perhaps it is a slight cold that is muting the aromas this weekend. Very light scent and the more I sniff the more I get the dog sitting beside me on the couch. Flavour is alive though! Light pepperyness on the tongue. Light ctirus. A nice bottled beer. I had heard horror stories of bland Brittish Golden Ales but the recent examples that have come to Calgary are intriguing in their subtle differences, balance and nice use of hops.

Hurricane Jack pours out a bright, golden, pale yellow with a thin white head and some beautiful lacing rings. Beautiful sparkly carbonation in the body cascade upwards. The nose is sweet and floral with a massive, zesty citrus aroma. A hint of spice accompanies a lovely wheaty, bready malt. A hint of caramel sweetness and a surprisingly prominent hop nose. Hurricane Jack has a fruity and wheaty middle with a nice sweet, floral citrus and spice with a zesty tang. The finish has a nice bitterness and a grassy hop taste, a nice lemony hop and a lingering citrus hop. A medium body, soft carbonation and a light, fresh, smooth taste.
