[on cask in Edinburgh] Buttery diacetyl aroma in balance with citrus that comes from hops and fermentation. Almost clear yellow under an eternal, lacy, white top. Nice bitterness in the flavour, right up front ahead of smooth, creamy malt. Light to medium body, low to moderate carbonation, moderately bitter finish.

I really like Fyne. Their a company that can make beers be more than a sum of their parts. This is hoppy loveliness, could drink it all day.

Cask conditioned handpump Old Fountain London 23/07/12. A light blonde coloured beeer with a big white head. Good citrussy sharp hops. Lemon, grapefruit and oranges. Well balanced pale malts join in. A pretty good body. Really flavoursome. Up there with the best UK goldens.

This is for me like a toned down jarl despite its higherabv. the characteritics are there, i suspect is a change in the malt base. still a lovely beer but overshadowed by jarl

50cl bottle. BBE 06/2012. Hazy, pale yellow, creamy, lacing, lasting white head. Aroma has mostly citrus, but also grass and floral notes. Flavor is fruity hops, malt, citrus, bitter finish.  Decently hopped. Good golden ale, enjoyable still even as it was an old bottle.  Session beer.

UPDATED: AUG 17, 2012 Aroma-wise it’s not bad, just average. A fine-looking pint, blonde and with a thick, foamy head. A sharp, bitter taste while not being overpowering. Would be a good session beer.

Bottle at home. Pours hazy light golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malt and light fruity hops. Flavour of citrus, grapefruit, hops and a moderate bitter finish. Light bodied with soft carbonation. Really nice session beer.

500ml bottle.4,4% slightly hazy, light golden colour. Fresh bitterness, but could have done with more aroma hops. Great thirst quencher and drinkability.

Similar pale blonde as Jarl with dry citrus aroma. Maltier than Jarl with orangey hops, a sharper finish and gentle carbonation.

Bottle: Pale golden to golden, hazy, small+stable white creamy layer, mild but distinctive citric aroma accompanied by traces of pale malt; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and smooth; slightly lingering bitter-sweet lemony-malty finish.Another goody from Fynes…
