Ungstrup (10853), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 26, 2008 Cask at Abbostford, Edinburgh. A golden beer with a slight haze under a thin lazing off-white head. The aroma is sweet with flowery hoppy notes. The flavor is sweet with light notes of malt and notes of flowery hops, elderberryflowers, and grass, leading to a dry and nicely bitter finish. The body is thin. Rastacouere (5202), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 25, 2007 A cask ale for the hopheads this one. A flowery, peppery, spicy and very mineral golden ale. Clear and wearing a fair white head that slowly fades. Interesting palate has a rather crisp bite for a cask offering. Floral and efficient cutting bitter finish. Light limey and watermelon-like salted cracker notes. Good stuff. FatPhil (1965), Espoo, Finland Sep 24, 2007 Cask (Peterborough BF 2007)
Sweet grapefruity citrus aroma. Well balanced taste - hoppy but not excessively so. KnutAlbert (2133), Oslo, Norway Sep 4, 2007 Cask in Glasgow. An outstanding bitter, just the beer if you really love hops. Flowery, dry, refreshing. Too extreme for some, I suppose. rickgordon (3024), Göteborg, Sweden Aug 31, 2007 Cask at Abbotsford, Edinburgh.
Pale golden colour with low head. Floral, hoppy aroma. Grassy flavour and bitterness. Light bodied. Bit of glue. Medium bitter.
