3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: JUL 1, 2013 (Bottled) Very pale golden ale with a thick, frothy head and a light, hoppy aroma with a citrus edge. A very bitter, hoppy flavour with a bitter, lemony backtaste. Enjoyable but I?m keen to try it on tap.
(Cask) Aroma is more distinctive in the cask version and I think the citrus flavour comes through more strongly as well.
Rating is for the cask.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; pours straw yellow minimal head, feint hoppy aroma with a bit of lemon, quite thin in mouth feel, tastes superb citrus hop slight tobacco. Only 3.8% Fyne have done a great job with this.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cask at the Euston Tap. Pale straw coloured yellow beer. Hoppy citrus aroma. Very well balanced beer, light and quaffable yet full flavoured, grapefruit citrus and long nagging bitter finish. Super session bitter.

Bottle. A really tasty golden ale. Lights citrus hops with a smooth malt backbone. I could drink absolute buttloads of this gear.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask at CB & K, Pimlico. Terrific one to session on a gorgeous sunny afternoon in estimable company. Faintly cloudy gold, with a modest scrim of bubbles. Soft fruity nose and a kiss of bitters for good measure. Smooth mouthfeel, lightly prickly palate. Flavors brim with brightness and citrus hops, backed up by a pine finish. So good.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Had been wanting to try this for the longest time. It certainly is a very solid Golden indeed. Good level of hops, some vegetation, a lightness from the abv. Orchardy. Super easy to scoff. Although I hate labelling things as sessionable, this typifies sessionability-ness.

On tap at the Grey Horse in Balerno. Tastes a bit like an IPA, a little citrussy and hoppy. Nice.

Cask @ Black Door, Helsinki. Clear golden yellow with a thick white lacey head. Citric, hoppy aroma with some malt and grain, maybe a hint of soap. Hoppy flavour, mainly citrus and floral notes, but also some malt and grain. A citric, dry finish.

Cask @ Kitty’s, Helsinki
Pours light yellow with a small bubbly head. Aroma of fruity hops, some citrus and grassy notes. Taste is nicely hoppy and fruity with notes of citrus, grass, pine and exotic fruits. Finish is bitter and hoppy with mild fruity notes. Well balanced, excellent session beer.
