Cask at The Earl Grey Inn, Leek. A clear golden colour with a medium white head. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon, slight biscuity malts plus grassy, floral and herbal hops. Taste of grapefruit, lemon, some orange, slight biscuity malts plus grassy, floral and herbal hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, slightly biscuity, floral hop bitterness in the finish. Started off with sweet citrus and malty flavours but then developed into a well rounded, well hopped bitter finish. Nice.

Bottle. After a pongy egg smell on opening, this turns out to be a great wee beer. Lots of depth for a 3.8%. Nice and dry at the finish. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From XXXII. In Teku glass. After dinner. Very hoppy. citric. Watery buts its high bitterness hides it.
