A full-on citrus experience. Light and golden, a perfect ale for whiling away the hours on a sunny day.

Amazingly strong aroma for the style, really strong citrus with grass and hops. Taste is a lovely dry bitterness with some citrus and good hop character. Full of character for the low ABV. Exceptionally good example of the golden ale style.

(cask) pours a clear golden-yellow colour with a frothy white head. aroma of bread dough and citrus fruit, slightly sweaty, with a hint of herbal hops, straw and light pepper. flavour is mostly barnyard and herbal hops, with the slightest hint of butter, straw and yeast. light to medium-bodied with soft carbonation.

Half pint at Sheffield Tap. Gold with creamy head. Light citrus aroma. Nicely hopped, not overdone, citrus zest and a hint of grapefruit. Pleasant and perfectly chugable, with a bitter aftertaste.

From a cask. Babbity Bowsters, Glasgow. Lovely ale, very refreshing and flavoursome. Very hoppy with citrus notes. At 3.8% a great session ale.

Pours cloudy light orange, sediment present. Fruity, floral and dried leaves aroma. Get a fruity and grapefruit taste. I quite enjoyed this. On a hot summers day it would be really good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPad

Cold bottle. Very pale yellow peachy colour like apple juice. Funnily enough it smells of apples and peaches too. Fair bit of flavour for a low ABV beer, but it’s still quite watery. The hop flavour is actually quite earthy in contrast to the fruity smell. Toned down elderflower. Sessionable, but I’ve had better session beers.

Golden colour, ever-so-slightly cloudy, with a one finger creamy white head. Aroma is hoppy and this is followed by a fantastic hoppy/floral sweet taste. Very drinkable.
