Landslide is a well hopped American Brown Ale that is a modern interpretation of traditional British Brown Ales. A blend of four different malts gives a show stopping deep reddish brown colour with an inviting roasted malt aroma. A mix of four bold Pacific hops add prominent notes of jammy fruits with a hint of citrus and smooth bitterness.

Sampled at the Fyne Ales Brewery. A dary ruby colour with a cream head. Some bonfire toffee on the nose. Quite creamy in the mouth, lots of hops and malt. For a sour beer loveer this is not bad!

Bottle from the brewery. Chestnut brown with a cream head. The taste is nutty with a Little red fruit and a strangely buttery finish. There’s some mild citrus and spice from the hops. Not outstanding, but nice.

Clear brown red-beer with a thick head and some bubbls rising through it. Aroma is a blend of sweet, caramel, malt and hops which are all strong but remain distinct. Flavour has slightly sour fruit along with the malt and it has a surprisingly smooth, creamy feel to it. It’s a bit too sour for me to find it the sort that I’d want to drink a lot of but it’s nice.

Bottle at home from Redmonds, Dublin
hay and caramel, diacetyl but pretty sure sorachi ace in there too. Dark chestnut with pale beige foam. Fairly full bodied, hay, dry, pink grapefruit, orange juice. Fruity, chocolate digestives, some pith and slightly astringent dry finish.

Bottle from BottleDog London and drunk at home. Clear dark brown lasting beige head. Malty almost buttery aroma with a touch of wood. Malty in the mouth with melted butter flavour and even a touch of sourness on the finish. Weird.
