500 ml bottle at home, poured into a Guinness pint. ABV 4.2% Beautiful coloue, a deep ruby red or maybe a light amber brown, however you look at it, against the light or not, it has some really attractive hues. One finger of off-white head, soapy, eith good retention and medium lacing left on the glass. Aroma of caramel and toffee, light roasted malts, cookie dough. Taste is of malts, red fruits, quite bitter from the beginning, with good, long duration. Caramel again, less toffee now, a touch of mildly bitter coffee on the aftertaste. Medium thin body, nice carbonation. Overall pretty good bitter!

Cask at Bow Bar, Edinburgh. Pours a dark amber colour with a slightly off white head. Aroma isn't huge bit there's a maltiness there. Light to medium body, a bit thin. A dry toastiness with a touch if bitter marmalade and grapefruit. OK. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
