Bottle at Björn, thanks.
Long lasting beige head. Red-brown color. Strange aroma that goes towards english breakfast tea. Big bitterness and some caramell maltiness. No residual sweetness.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aroma: Difficult to detect. Grassy and malty.
Appearance: Hazy auburn body with a huge, foamy tan head (I think the inclusion of wheat in Fyne Ales’ beers contributes to the thick, lasting heads.) Excellent lacing.
Taste: Tastes a bit diluted. No punchy flavours. Slight caramel notes, decent bitterness.
Palate: Thin, watery body with an oily texture. Soft carbonation.
Overall: Not as good as it looks - unfortunately the aroma and flavour is bland and boring.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask. Ruby color with your standard bitter head. Light slightly floral nose, some brown sugar. The taste is very much of a classic bitter. Some caramel, nuttiness. A bit rustic, nice dry finish. This pint plays it straight as a bitter, though that’s not a bad thing. It’s flavorable, well put together.

50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 07/2012
Aroma is really light with some toffee, hay, caramel and biscuits. Flavour has nice hops with toffee, nuts, caramel, hints of hay and biscuits. The fruity hops is the thing here; otherwise this would be just another bitter.

Bottle: Ruby-amber coloured, stable and creamy and lacy off-white head, fruity and slightly toasty nose with a solid hoppy influence; soft MF, light to medium bodied, moderate bitter-sweet flavour; balanced toasty-caramelly finish with a solid hoppy counterpart. Classy stuff…
