500 ml bottle, from a potential importer. ABV is 4.2%. Deep copper to chestnut colour (if this beer was a horse, the colour would be called "bay"). Large off-white head. Nice aroma of ripe Nordic fruits and berries, hints of blackcurrant leaves, also notes of toffee, sweet biscuits and caramel malts. The flavour is malty but not too sweet, mild roasty notes, some fruit, also biscuits. Dry and "dusty" English hops in the finish.

Gift from the Scotsman / bottled. Ehh. I dunno, It was thin, and kind of plain. It had some nice roasted malt elements and a nice caramel aroma , but over all just bland.

Bottle at Björn, thanks.
Long lasting beige head. Red-brown color. Strange aroma that goes towards english breakfast tea. Big bitterness and some caramell maltiness. No residual sweetness.

UPDATED: APR 21, 2014 Bottle from Morrisons. Clear auburn body with a beige head that slowly fades. Lively carbonation. Light lacing. Aroma of tea, raisins, grass and copper. The flavour is light and grassy, with a hint of rum on the finish. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft carbonation. A subtle, moreish Bitter.

Cask. Ruby color with your standard bitter head. Light slightly floral nose, some brown sugar. The taste is very much of a classic bitter. Some caramel, nuttiness. A bit rustic, nice dry finish. This pint plays it straight as a bitter, though that’s not a bad thing. It’s flavorable, well put together.
