3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 jackl (756) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 5, 2012
Cask. Ruby color with your standard bitter head. Light slightly floral nose, some brown sugar. The taste is very much of a classic bitter. Some caramel, nuttiness. A bit rustic, nice dry finish. This pint plays it straight as a bitter, though that’s not a bad thing. It’s flavorable, well put together.

50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 07/2012
Aroma is really light with some toffee, hay, caramel and biscuits. Flavour has nice hops with toffee, nuts, caramel, hints of hay and biscuits. The fruity hops is the thing here; otherwise this would be just another bitter.
