Hazy golden colour with average to big fluffy white head. Aroma of pine and floral hops, hints of bitterness and mild caramel sweetness. Flavour is piney hoppy with mossy earthiness, moderate bitterness and malt. Very balanced and rich for a 3.8% ale. Good and tasty.

mile (2100) - Helsinki, FINLAND - SEP 30, 2012
Bottle. Light golden, hazy, average and fully diminishing head. Light to moderate malty and lightly sweetish aroma, some floral fruitiness and light citrus hoppyness. Body is light to medium, malty and lightly sweetish flavor, light caramel, some floral fruitiness and light citrus hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, light citrus hoppyness. OK, but lacks character - as the label says ”An easy drinking ale".

500 ml bottle. BBE 12/2012.
Pours an unclear yellow colour with a white foamy head. Aroma of strong floral hops, spruce and some perfume-like notes. Flavour of crispy floral hops, citrus, bready malts, orange and some very interesting barley wine -like ripe fruitiness. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Full on finish of floral hops, citrus and mild fruitiness. This has a bit heavier body than on other beers I’ve tasted from this brewery. Good one.

Aroma: Clean, hoppy and grainy.

Appearance: Clear golden body with a fluffy white head. Lively carbonation. Slight lacing.

Taste:More malty than Fyne Ales’ Jarl and Hurricane Jack. Crisp, bitter finish.

Palate: Thin body with a watery mouthfeel. Fizzy carbonation.

Overall: A tasty, bitter ale.
