Hand pull at Babington Arms (JDW) Derby. Fairly gold, clean hop aroma, good smack of fruit, a lick of lemon in the end. Solid gold and another outstanding Fyne ale.

Bottle from Green Welly Stop, Tyndrum. Hazy yellow/gold colour. Good citric fruity hop aroma. Easy drinking, good long hop finish. Yum.

Bottle. Mmmm - a crisp, fragrant and juicy golden ale. Fresh grapefruit with a delicate balancing sweetness. Like a crisp, clean American Pale Ale. This is an outstandingly brilliant beer!

Cask@GBBF04’. Pretty decent golden ale. Pretty well balanced between hop and malt, and definitely on the inoffensive side of the scale, the hops are slightly tangy and bitter aswell, which kept me interested.

At a festival with lots of golden summer ales that were too soft and not crisp enough to hit the mark, this one did the job well. Freash hoppy aroma and plenty of citrci, grassy hop in the flavour, but just a hint of malt to add a bit of interest. Long, dry, increasingly bitter finish. Not bad at all.

Bottled. Bright amber almost bronze colour with a slowly streaming set of bubbles. Unmistakeable pineapple aroma. Light to moderate fruity flavour, very thin in the end. A good beer to have between beers. Cleansing and refreshing on the palate.

This was the third bottled beer that I sampled from this brewery and all were excellent. Golden appearance and a nice hoppy bounciness makes for a very refreshing drink. So far I have yet to have a dissapointing drink from a Scotish micro. This is highly recommended.

(Cask conditioned). Sampled at the Wear Valley CAMRA beer festival. Served at room temperature (urk!) with only the natural low carbonation - this is a light golden ale with good hops and a lovely aroma, and should be a perfect session beer when served cooler.
