3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Aroma: some sweet malts, citrus and lemon hops. Appearance: clear gold with medium frothy white head. Taste: light sweet and bitter. Palate: bitterness getting more pronounced towards the long dry finish. Overall: pretty nice Golden Ale - lots of flavour despite the low ABV. Pint at the Craft Beer Co. Clerkenwell, London.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Golden with light white head. Very sulphurous on nose...overburtonised I call it but perhaps a fermentation fault...almost stomache turning rotting eggs. Tastes pretty good at first, light tropical fruits well balanced but a whiff of egg at the finish. The only real disappointment of the festival and hopefully a one off fault from the usually unfaultable brewers

Cask conditioned handpump Southampton Arms London 06/09/13. A light golden coloured beer with a whitish head. Citrus and grassy notes. Soapy flavours too. Nice enough hoppiness but itís a bit safe for Fyne. Sessionable. Bit of shampoo, OK.
