Good bitter ipa, that uses a less flowery hop than often is used. This a fine black ale, with good bitter aftertaste. Also roasted chocolate and malts. ---Rated via Beer Buddy (iOs)

Bottle. Pours very dark, small tan head. Not much IPA nose or taste, reminded me mostly of a porter. Soft carbonation, heavy body.

330 ml bottle. BB Oct/2014. From alesbymail.co.uk.
Pours black with almost no head... well there’s a tiny tan ring. Quite mild aroma of sweet malt, some port wine or sherry, some dryish liquorice and mild hoppy bitterness. The flavour is... very interesting for a Black IPA. Roasted malt, bitter hops, port wine or sherry, mild whiskey notes and lots of sweetness in the flavour. I’m not sure if this is a Black IPA but nevertheless it’s quite nice brew to drink.

Chuť má velmi autentický nádech kávy s velmi výrazným, šťavnatě ovocným komponentem, připomínající melounovou šťávu smíchanou s pomerančem, finiš je středně kávově hořký a držící. V ústech pivo působí plně, má střední říz a je dobře pitelné. Jedná se o pivní delikatesu s lahodným aroma a velmi příjemnou, dobře spojenou chutí.
