Straw blonde bear with a tiny head. Faint aroma with citrus fruit. Bitterness a bit below average but with the overall low ABV/Plato it’s a nice session beer.

Draught at BrewDog Camden on 5 February 2014. Poured a hazy pale golden colour with a thin white head and some lacing. Aroma of grassy hop, caramel and cereal. Tart citrus rind flavour with some pine needles and chewy malt. Finish was astringent, bitter resin, mixed with some brown sugar sweetness and dry grain.

(bottle, 33cl) Slightly hazy, pale golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Fruity, slightly woody and delicately piney hoppy aroma with notes of citrus, grapefruit and a tinge of white bread. Moderately bitter and delicately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Dry hops character with notes of citrus and spruce, accompanied by mildly bready pale malt; dry and bitter hoppy, slightly sulphuric finish. 19.XII.13

brontebeach (148) - Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 27, 2014
On tap at Brew Dog Shoreditch. A slight hint of citrus in the nose, not much of a looker in the glass: head fades quickly, leaves some lacing. Good carbonation and a subsequent refreshing zing on the palate. Good bitterness and nice follow through. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
