3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
750ml swing top bottle. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Clear, dark, orangey gold. Thick, fairly dense, sticky, lasting, off white head. Good looker. Sweet orange hop. Raspberry. Ripe peach. All quite sweet, and luscious. Bit of pine resin in the background. Taste is rich sweet, with a nettle type bitterness creeping in, and lingering. Slick, oily rich palate. Carbonation to match. Finishes quite short bitter. Good stuff, although the slick palate and short finish don’t quite match the aroma and taste. Still very enjoyable, mind.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottled. Hazy amber, small head. Rich sweaty grapefruit aroma. Mid sweet with medium-full body and rounded mouthfeel. Grapefruit, lychee and resin, some caramel. Really bitter piney finish. While Fyne Ales traditionaal beers are world class, this is more... meh. But then double IPA´s are often just that,,,

At Eurhop festival in Rome-ITALY. Pours dark golden hazy, consistent white head. Nose: cascade hops, mild grassy notes. Mouth: fresh feel, veggies, after rain field grass. Nice refreshing IPA. A bit of amber malts feel although the end is definitely dry and bitter.

2014-08-08. Hazy dark orange body with a small off white head. 3+ Aroma is fruity, tropical fruit notes, leafy green touches, melon rind undertones. 7+ Flavour is fruity, sweet tangerine flavour and tropical fruit undertones. 7+ Average plus bodied palate has soft to low carbonation. Pretty nice overall, the alcohol is very restrained, hops are not entirely to my taste but it’s pretty decent. Bottle from Appellation Wines, Edinburgh
