Cask (gravity) - Norwich Beer Festival 2011. A clear chestnut brown coloured beer with a loose, bubbly medium sized & mostly lasting off-white to beige head. Delicate coffee, hints of roast, some dark fruit & juicy hop coming through. Fuller coffee & roast notes on the tongue with some yeast tones. Lingering-ish bitterness, slightly dry, light to medium body & a soft, smooth palate texture. A lovely drinkable mild with good balance and added hop ’spark’.

Yum. Tastes gorgeous, but it doesn’t linger for long. I could drink lots through and am looking forward to more from Fyne :)

Cask @ Craft. Pours clear dark ruby with decent head. Hoppy aroma. Citrus fruits, blackcurrant especially at the end, with malty base. More bitter than I expected. Very nice pint!

Quite dark a red ale. Hoppy, quite a dry bitterness and some hints of herbs and grass in it. As a mild, nothing is too overbearing and it would make for a good session ale.
