A full bodied oatmeal stout to keep you warm on those chilly winter nights.This ruby coloured stout has aromas of liquorice followed up by flavours of cocoa and earthy grains, which gives leaves a silky smooth texture on the palate

Clear dark red brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark roasted, ash, roasted, earthy notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130127]

Aroma of soft roasted malts, touch of coffee, some soft chocolate
Taste of roasted malts, soft coffee, light chocolate, dab of soft sweet toffee malts.
Palate - thinnish body, bit oily, some smoothness, light bittersweet palate. Finish as main flavour, soft bitter roast linger

Cask @ The State Bar. Almost black with a reddish hue & good head. Mild milky coffee aroma. Roasted malt & dark berry fruit flavour. Very smooth. A very good stout.
