On keg at the Culture & Cure, Bath, 25/8/2014. Deep gold with a slight, off-white, head. Some grassy hops, gentle cucumber freshness and slightly bready malts, leading to a dryish finish. Fine.

Keg at hanging bat. The aroma reminded me of a monitor. Peppery cucumber with a watery mint finish. Very light and refreshing.

Bottle from Market Row Wines. Hazy amber, medium bubbly white head, quite effervescent. Nose is interesting. Fresh cucumber, little light saison yeast, little lemon citrous, slight soapy. Taste for such a low alcohol beer is quite full. Cumcumber, little mint, lemon citrous, saison yeast. It’s a really good beer, and really light and refreshing for a hot day. My only criticism would be that after a while the lack of body in the beer starts to become more noticeable on the palate once the flavour of cucumber and mint settles.

Bottle from Beer Gonzo. Aroma of Belgian yeast, some mint. First taste is really fizzy! Taste is a bit bland but the mint is coming through. It does what it says on the bottle but it’s a bit boring. Refreshing enough.

On keg at Coach and Horses, Dronfield - Pours clear pale gold with a short white head. Bit fizzy and cold. Nose has a bit of bread, but then goes into a raita dip aroma, loads of minty cucumber. Really interesting and refreshing. Finishes abrupt, but smooth. Great when it is 30°c in the shade.

750ml bottle. Slightly hazy yellow-gold colour, foamy white head and aroma of pickled cucumber, hint of mint, citrus, barnyard. Taste is cucumber, with lemon, spice, herby, mint and some barnyard, yeasty notes. Foamy mouthfeel, light watery bodied, soft carbonation, fairly clean finish with slight lingering pickled cucumber. Very refreshing, great stuff.

Earthy aroma. Bit weird. Not very cucumber but I can taste the mint. The wild yeast comes through but isn’t especially good

Olor ácido como las gueze. Sinceramente no me dice nada, muy floja, sin chicha. Poco sabor. Sólo sirve para empezar.

Keg at the Hanging Bat. Pours pale golden, refreshing, cucumber, dry toffee, mint, sweet.

750ml bottle. Pours dusted orange with a subsiding billow of suds. Alluring Belgian inflected aroma big on galangal-like citrus with some earthier and farmyard tones deeper in the mix. Orange-forward citrus on palate; wet dough and soggy biscuit linger, juniper-like spice, mellow heartburn, cucumber distant and well integrated. not getting the mint. Soapy perfumed wafts; more galangal, dill, flowers. Thins in the finish. Belgian shandy. Could maybe use an injection of booze and slickness (or Gordon’s) to hold it together.
