Bottle courtesy of Mark B. Pours black with a fading tan head. Lots of flavours evident. Quite a bitter brew with liquorice and treacle flavours at the forefront. Some nice coffee and chocolate in there too. This is very drinkable and it my kind of beer.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle from Jacks Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon, consumed at home Monday 23rd December 2013 This is bloody great, its up there with a stonger Impy Stout/Porter. I love the label ’Its the end of the world and I feel Fyne’ excellent. Soft in mouth, smooth with a nice slick creamy coffee and wonderful roastiness and even a bit of burnt toast. Some tart tangy fruit with a warmth from the alcohol. Loz just gave me a little bit of camemebert whilst I wait for me tea which was lovely but thats rather scuppered the rest of me rating. Pours deep midnight black. Big malty flavours, hoppy bitterness at the end, with chocolate, malt, licorice and nuts going on the middle. A touch of fruit right at the start, lovely.
