Bottle. Nice chocolate and dark malt nose. Rather light in body, easy drinking, nice flavors but for the abv not a whole lot of punch. Decent.

Almost black color with a off-white medium head. Aroma is roasted malty with hints of coffee and chocolate. Flavor is like aroma with a moderate sweetness. Low to medium carbonation and a medium body with a roasted malt finish.

Bottle. Pretty much black. Aroma us quite rich, almost imperial in its treacly quality. Fairly thick creamy body. Lots of chocolatey depth, dark and delicious. Not much nuance beyond that, but some good dessert beer quality.

Bottled 08/03/14. A black beer with a disappearing beige head. A strong porter with high bitterness. A bit of acidity on the nose. Oily consistency. Boozy dark fruits. Decent.

Tap at t’Klooster, Delft. Poured a murky dark brown with a thin tan head. The aroma is liqourice, roasted malt, sweet fruit and a hint of dark chocolate. The flavour is medium bitter with a smooth dry hop spicy bitter palate and short bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Really refreshing beer with some lovely hoppiness in the palate. Well balanced indeed.

Bottle from the beer hive. Pours black with small brown head. Slightly soapy nose with roasted coffee. Medium body, lightly carbonated. Sugar and caramel. Fuller taste than abv suggests. Good stuff.

On tap @ Borefts 2013. A deep dark brown one with a light islandy and sidesticking dark brown head. Smells of woody vanilla chocolate. A bit like home made vanilla chocolate ice cream actually, and I definitely like how that smells. A little bit of sweet dark malts here also. Sharp strong in the taste. A good amount of that woody vanilla found in the aroma. It’s almost lively, well at least above average on the carbonation and it has a light oily mouthfeel. Quite taste, the chocolate lingers in the aftertaste. Zomting I could drink again! 28.09.2013

Bottle BB Nov 2014, into tulip. Black, decent foamy, soapy tan head. Smell - coffee, fairy liquid, lime. Body - medium to light, low carbonation. Taste - coins, hoppy, caramel coffee. Decent hoppy porter, but not as much flavour as I was hoping for.
