On tap at Gaasa. Clear copper colored body with a small tanned head. Fresh nectarine and light dried fruits on the nose. Fresh fruity hop juice. Medium bodied with a lasting heavy plum core hinting bitterness. Carbonation is on the wee heavy side.

Draft @Gaasa, Oslo. Near-clear deep gold colored body. Medium tall, blond head. Caramel malts, citrus-fruits and some resinous tones in the aroma. Slick and dry in the mouth. Medium full. Tropical-fruity bitterness with hint of resiny hop oils. A light maltsweetness underneath. Nice hop linger in the finish. A tasty and straightforward IPA with good drinkability.

On tap @ Gaasa! Yeah itís fruity, definitely not unique but loaded with good fruity hoppy aromas. The beer itself is cloudy and deep orange in color with a small islandy and sidesticking white top. Somewhat sweet also on the nose, I get tones of both fruity zest and peach cream. Nice. Itís above average on the carbonation level and the mouthfeel is light oily. Quite intriguing and flavorful flavors. Yeah that made sense... But it has lots of strong concentrates flavors. Itís a true hop juice this as the pine bitterness is really working itís way on my tongue. A bit to much perhaps, as it feels overpowering bitter without the needed sweetness to balance. Peaches, some pineapple and branches. Not something for the newborns. 24.05.2013

In short: A fruity and slightly floral golden IPA. Refreshing
How: From the tank at brewpub, given to me by the brewer because they were out at Gaasa so I got to try a batch that was going to be delivered to Gaasa two days later
The look: Partly cloudy rusty-golden body topped by a medium off-white head
In long: Nose is mostly fruity with hops fruitiness and other fruity esters joining in, I noted peaches, grapefruits, mangos. Also a floral component to the aroma. Taste is toasted chewy malts, light presence of caramel, plenty of fruity hops with floral notes. This one did not have the highly aromatic and vibrant qualities of Schouskjellerenís other hoppy beers. Brewed for the Gaasa pub (very nice pub btw) and seems to me that Schouskjelleren made a more accessible IPA. A very nice beer even if I had much better IPAs at Schouskjelleren, nonetheless a pretty good beer to celebrate a 30th birthday anniversary, not mine though, Iím older than that, some other people, certainly a lot of people, but nobody I know though.

On tap @ Gaasa. A hazy orange body with a small off-white head. Nice citric aroma with peaches and grapefruit. Flavor is sweet caramel malty with citric fruit and nice bitterness. Very refreshing. Medium body and bitter aftertaste. A nice IPA, less yeasty than a few of the Schouskjelleren IPAs tends to be.
