3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Schroppfy (2332) - Łódż, Warsaw, Poland; Michigan, Ohio, USA - MAR 12, 2011
Well, I am naprawda pleased to have been able to try this beer, thanks to Michał Brzeszkiewicz!! This is a malty beer, but thankfully once a fresh beer with some hops which have oxidized nicely, on an effervescent body. The combination creates an iron, earth component to a caramelized brown sugar base. Almost no bitterness, some sourness in the flavors. Almost completely clear, a little haze, copper colored, lingering head. All in all, still very tasty stuff. Bardzo smaczne rzeczy. Dare to be dryer still, Polish beers, please keep attenuating all your sugar! Prosze! Nice brewing effort, which I could try more from this defunct brewery.

Bottle brown, 500 ml, 11.1 P
Appearance: Pours amber red to brown, quite clear but slightly opaque, moderately to gently carbonated body, head is slightly off - white, foamy to frothy, initially medium but not impressive, slowly decreasing to minimal, then firm and long lasting with traces of lacing.
Aroma: Quite consistant and balanced aroma, nice crystalized malt, gentle touch of characteristic herbal hoppyness, some notes of pine, coocoo candy, reminding Englidh hops in its hoppy profile but quite weaker in its strength, good craft of an irish Ale sharing a lot with its original relative from Ireland.
Taste: Nice, strong, sour front with pronounced notes of roasty - caramelly sugar accent and earthy - leavy and spicy hoppyness. What is also nice is crystalized malt and its being more and more spicy hoppy, bitter and focused towards the end. Finish duration is long.
Palate: Body is medium, texture is dry, carbonation on palate is moderate, finish feel is bitter to some extent and quite clean. A really nice beer craft and effort to create an Irish Ale being genuine.
